Training

I've just had my assessment and first training session. I'm exhausted. It's witchcraft! I found myself doing everything this bloke asked me to do and all for a tiny bit of cheese!

I've just been to the beach to play and I met another GSP. I was the good boy though!

I've been on a demo!

It was against the council's plans to charge for parking at one of my favourite places which was donated to the community for free. Power to the ...erm... dogs!

Afterwards I went in the sea!

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!

A good walk in the woods this morning and another on the beach this evening. After that we went to the pub so they could eat. Mum had chicken and Dad had gammon steak. It's just not fair!

I've just met...

... my other brother and sister-in-law and my niece and nephew. They were very happy to see me and very gentle. I wasn't as worried as I look in the picture! I gave them a kiss!

Another exciting day!

I met Ollie and Poppy for the first time this morning and then went for a nice walk in the morning sun.

I've just met one of my human brothers and he was great to play with. I think he likes me!

Best of all I came to the whistle perfectly in the garden several times and sat nicely in front of Dad. I'm not saying the pieces of sausage had anything to do with it... I know it was only the garden but there are lots of distracting smells outside and they were perfect recalls.

This afternoon we went to the pub.

Strange place. He gets something to drink and I get patted and tickled.

FOR AN HOUR!!!
But I didn't fuss and he brought me back a nice treat.

This place is fantastic! I didn't want to go home. I met loads of friends today and there are still more to meet! I met Billy, Flake, Max and Chancer to name but a few. They were all nice and I can't wait to get recall sorted so we can play properly. (Click photos to enlarge.)

I've had two walks today so far although the second was not that long. Been watching Dad work and had a few seconds off the lead in the garden. I was a good boy.

Sunday

I was a good boy and slept all night until Mum got up to go to work. I went and checked that Dad was there and had a little moan when Mum went to work. After breakfast Dad and I went out to the beach and the tide was in so we went for coffee at a cafe.

I met Sparky Porter the Cocker! It was exciting! Met lots of other dogs too.

I can jump in and out of the car now and will sit in the back without climbing over too.

This afternoon I'm going to meet my Nana and Grandpa. They only found out about me yesterday and can't wait to see me.
